Bernie Florido
Bernie Florido is a former 13-year police officer with the RCMP (including K9 unit) and recipient of the Police Meritorious Service Award, who later led an award-winning real estate development firm before pivoting to tech entrepreneurship. Drawing on his firsthand experience with the gaps in how communities access public services, he founded Cocoflo in 2019 to digitally transform government operations. He is a TEDx speaker, Harvard Business School Online alumnus, and has raised over CAD $10 million, with Cocoflo recognized as one of Canada's top startups.
